You Will Need:
Piece of lined paper
Grey lead pencil (to write)
Coloured pencils (to illustrate)
Activity:
Do a good copy/publish the letter you wrote in yesterday's writing lesson. Remember to do your best handwriting and draw a picture or find some photos that you might be able to print off to go with your letter. Find somewhere special where you can keep your letter so one day when you are older you can reread it.

You have done your best writing and your parents have sent your teachers a copy of your letter as we may use these in the future.

After finishing the warm up, watch Mr Keys take your through today’s lesson ‘counting back’ for subtraction by using a number line.
You will know you are finished when….you have practised the counting back strategy at least six times and feel confident using this strategy.
Challenge: Teach your mum, dad, brother, sister or even call your grandparents and teach them about the ‘count back’ strategy.
