FRONT COVER
MUST SAY:
- ‘Charlie and the Chocolate Factory’ by Roald Dahl
- ‘(Your Name)’s Journal’
PLUS
Illustration and drawings of your choice (include colour, no texta’s please).
Learning Intention:
We are learning how to publish our writing.
Success Criteria:
I choose a publishing format and start publishing my Information Report (about my own topic).
The Information Report about your own topic MUST be published on paper, NOT using your iPad. You could:
make a poster
make a book (with a colourful front cover!)
make a collage
make a brochure or booklet
create a 3D model or diorama and stick your Info Report on the side
draw some diagrams to illustrate your Info Report
create a painting or sketch to show a scene from your Info Report
It’s really up to you how you publish your writing - be creative! Ask your teacher if you have an idea you’re not sure about.
Activity 1
Please write your Information Report out in a pencil first on a lined piece of paper. Once you have finished, go over your writing in a pen. Try to be as neat as you can - this is your published writing!
When you have finished, you can start being creative with your publishing! Let your teacher know in Google Classroom how you are going to publish your Information Report.
Check out these amazing examples of published writing for inspiration!
