You will need:

. Pencil
Introduction: Today you are going to watch Ms Baeck read ‘The Three Little Pigs’.
Activity: Watch Ms Baeck read ‘The Three Little Pigs’. After reading the book, Ms Baeck will ask questions about the characters, setting, problem and solution. Pause the video each time a question has been asked and to give your child time to write the answer, draw a picture or to tell you (parent) the answer.
Here is the story and questions if you are unable to logon to the video.
1. How many pigs are in the story?
2. What was the second little pig's house made from?
3. Why couldn't the wolf blow down the third house?
4. Why was the wolf trying to catch the little pigs?
5. What did the first and second little pig learn from the third the little pig?
You will know you are finished when you.......... Have answered the questions about the three little pigs.
Challenge: What materials would have you used to make the house and why? Write and draw a picture of your house.

Activity: Trace, and then copy, your spelling word and sentence of the week. Stick this into your spelling book and draw a picture.

You have traced and copied the word and sentence of the week, and drawn a funny old frog picture to match.

Learning Intention: We are revising teen numbers
Success Criteria: I can make a teen number.
I know a teen number is made up of one group of ten and extra ones.

You will need:
. 20 sticks or 20 icy- pole sticks or 20 straws
. Rubber bands
. Paper
. Pencils
. Maths book
Introduction: Today warm up your brains by practising counting backwards from 20. You may challenge yourself starting from different starting points to 100.
Activity:
Watch the explicit video.
Your first task today is to make a set of cards up to 20. Write the numbers 1 to 20 on each card. Next shuffle the cards and put them in a pile face down. Pick up the first card and make the shown number using the sticks and rubbers bands. Remember teen numbers are made up of one group of ten and extra ones. Once you have made the number, draw it in your maths book at writing the matching number. Continue until all the cards are gone.
You will know you are finished when you have made a teen number and can rename it as one group of ten and extra ones.
Challenge: Collect extra sticks to make numbers up to 100.
