Activity:
Today, please use paper to explore the following fractions:
quarters, halves, thirds and eighths.
The second part of the activity is to create a fraction pizza! We would like your pizza to be cut into quarters. Please choose ingredients for your pizza but make sure every quarter has exactly the same amount of that ingredient as the other quarters. Your pizza must have:
· 3 different types of ingredients or more
· Be cut in four pieces (quarters)
· Labelled to show what ¼ of the total of each ingredient is

Please submit a photograph of your pizza with the ingredients labelled. Please include how many of each ingredient you have on your WHOLE pizza and then how many of each ingredient you have on one QUARTER of your pizza.
