Success Criteria- I write my 8 words from my Weekly Spelling list independently.
I can listen and record the sentence.
Activity-
Ask someone to read your 8 spelling words aloud to you.
Write each of your 8 spelling words into your spelling book.
Correct your own words by checking the Spelling List.
Ask someone to read the sentences below to you.
Listen to the first sentence.
Repeat the sentence aloud.
Write the sentence in your spelling book.
Re-read your sentence and point to each word. Did you hear the /ee/ words in the sentence? Are the /ee/ words spelt correctly?
Repeat with the second and third sentences.
Now correct your sentence by looking at the sentences on your computer.
Dictation Sentences:
I put my thumb up to my friend.
I am thankful for my family.
I love when it is my birthday.
Today is a chance to finish any activities from this week: Your notebook page about things you can do, your draft procedural, editing and conferencing your procedural, publishing your procedural or your handwriting.

Learning Intention- We are learning to plan, draft and edit in a certain time.
Success Criteria- I can plan, draft and edit a piece in 50 minutes.
Activity Using an idea either from your notebook or a fresh idea, plan and write on a topic of your choice. You can do a recount, a narrative, an information report or a procedural.
When planning make sure you know the beginning, middle and end.
When editing make sure your writing makes sense and you have included full sentences with capital letters and fullstops.
Your writing should not be more than 1 page back and front. If it is you need to edit and ‘ban the boring.’
You could use my tomato and cheese toastie as a seed. Yum!!!
You may choose to use today to finish off your book response from this week.

Success Criteria- I can carefully follow each step of the procedure.
You Will Need-
A piece of paper - You can choose the colour or decorate later.
Activity-
Watch the video and follow along with the instructions as you go. You may wish to pause the video if you need a chance to catch up. REMEMBER to take your time and try not to get frustrated if something doesn’t look right, just take a breath and have another go at it. You can do it!

Create a poster of words and pictures related to mass.

Cooking: Focus on the capacity of different containers and the weight of ingredients as you measure particular ingredients for a recipe of your choice.
