Reading

Learning Intention: We are learning to revise sounds we know through Reading Eggs.

Success Criteria: I can complete the lessons my teacher has set for me.

Complete set Reading Eggs tasks. Once you have finished, choose your own Reading Eggs tasks to complete.

Writing

Learning Intention: We are learning to write an amazing Sizzling Start and story.

Success Criteria: You have a start to a story that ‘grabs the reader’s attention’.

You will need:

Writing book
Grey lead pencil

Write a story to match your Sizzling Start
Write a new story.

It’s our last day of writing for Term 3, so let your imagination run wild and enjoy some free writing!

You have shared your writing with someone in your family.

Spelling

Introduction: Follow along with Miss G for our Spelling dictation lesson. Write your sentence on your board. Remember you can pause at any point to give yourself more time.

Activity: Take a picture of your sentence and submit it on Google Classroom.

You will know you are finished when… You can read your sentence back and it includes all of the sounds and words AND you have submitted a picture of your work.

Challenge: Practise some of the irregular words below on your whiteboard. Add these to your whiteboard and submit if you would like to show your teacher.
