Learning Intention:
We are learning to spell words using the prefix ‘dis’ meaning away or negative.
Success Criteria:
I can add word endings to my Spelling words to create meaningful words.
Write out your words for this week in the daily column in your Spelling book.
Next, complete the following Spelling activity in your Spelling book:
Word Endings
Say your words.
Write out your words in a list on your activity page.
Add these endings to your words to make meaningful words if you can. -ing, -est, -ful, -ed, -er
Learning Intention:
We can login to Reading Eggs and answer questions using clues from the text.
Success Criteria:
I have used clues including words and pictures from the text to answer questions about the book.
Activity 1 -
Login to the Reading Eggspress Library.
Read chapters 1 - 4 of the book 'Health' and complete the quiz at the end of each section. You may need to reread the text to find the important information and keywords to answer the questions at the end of each section.

Activity 2 -
Complete one or two lessons in Reading Eggs.
After this, go into The Stadium and select Vocabulary or Usage activities for 10 minutes. Your goal is to get the most questions correct, so take your time!

Today we are learning how to plan our Sizzling Start and Exciting Ending when writing an information report. You will be using the research you did at school about your Information Report topic.
You were given two pieces of paper to take home which are the templates you will use to plan. Today we are using the worksheet that looks like this:
If you can’t find these pieces of paper or don’t have them, please copy this template into your English book.
On your worksheet, you need to:
Choose a fact you haven’t used in your paragraphs to use in your Sizzling Start - make sure your fact is fascinating enough to grab your reader’s attention!
Give an example of how you will use this fact to grab the reader’s attention (see below for Sizzling Start techniques to help you). You also need to write what technique you have used, e.g. show, don’t tell.

Work through the learning tasks. Copy these questions into you maths book neatly.
