Information Reports – Putting it all into practice

Activity 1:

Now is the time to put everything we have learnt into practice. We are going to be spending the next few weeks working on our good copy information reports. This will include:

• Staying with our original topic OR choosing a new topic if needed

• Researching our topic (if needed)

• Editing your facts and information

• Editing your draft

• Including all seven steps into our information reports including the techniques we have covered over the last several weeks

• Uploading our work

• Editing again!

• Creating a good copy

Important Information:

• All the steps above do not need to be completed in one session. This will take a few weeks!

• I would only expect you have edited your researching and planning phase today

• Each of the Seven Steps are expected to be at least one paragraph long.

I would be aiming for 1 full page minimum for the whole report!

What we are expecting you to have done today:

• Staying with your original topic or choosing a new topic if needed

• Editing your facts and information gained from research (Is it important? Is it relevant?)
