You have traced and copied the sentence of the week. You have stuck it in your Spelling book.
Challenge: The letters ‘cks’ also make the same sound as ‘x’ eg. socks / box. Can you brainstorm words and work out if they use 'x' or 'cks'?

Activity: After watching Mr Key’s take you though today’s lesson, complete the set work in your Maths book or on your whiteboard. You will find the doubles page below. The aim of this activity is to find all the doubles on the mat. Most children will need counters, blocks, lego to help with this task. A photo has been added below to show you how to set out the work.
The worksheet is the answers to the doubles facts.
Take a photo to show sorting out the counters or write a matching number sentence.
8+8 = 16 (doubles)
6+7 = 13 (not a doubles fact)
You will know you are finished when…. you have found which doubles were the answer to a doubles fact. Take a photo of your work and then upload it your class folder.
