Log in to Reading Eggspress and read from the Marsupials book that has been assigned to you.
Write down three interesting animal facts that you could add to your information report.
Spicy challenge: Can you identify the non-fiction text features in the Marsupials book? List down the non-fiction text features that you have found.
Note: You may need to log out of Reading Eggspress and log back in again to see the book that's been assigned.

Home Learning Task:
Students can continue with the tasks they were doing yesterday.
Mild- Choose a different animal from your Ranger Guide.
Write three questions about that animal.
Read the information for that animal.
Write an interesting fact you have learned about that animal.
Spicy- You have been making your writing in your booklet better. Now is the time to illustrate and add colour to your booklet. Make it something you are proud of.
Hot- Using your booklet as a guide you can plan a ‘Good Copy’ that you will publish. This can be in poster or booklet format.
Yesterday you would’ve added more detail to make it better. Today and tomorrow is to be spent rewriting your final published copy. Make sure it is published in your neatest writing with headings and subheadings and pictures. Pictures can be hand sketched or printed
Learning Intention: I can spell words with the digraph ou as in house.
Success Criteria: I can identify the consonant and vowel sounds in my spelling words.

Learning intention: We are learning strategies that help us with multiplication.
Success Criteria: I can use strategies I know to solve multiplication problems.
Warm Up: Rock, Paper, Scissors (with a twist!) This game works just like playing Rock, Paper, Scissors except instead of doing those actions you hold out any number of fingers. You might show 2 fingers while your partner might show 5 fingers. Then it is the first to call out the answer to 2X5. You can practise first with your own two hands and then challenge mum or dad, or your brother or sister.
Activity: Tables and Chairs (Assessment Task)
Imagine the school is organising how to set up tables for next year’s Mayfair. This time they are going to set up the tables end-to-end in one big long line along the basketball court. Each table sits four people like this.
Draw a diagram to show the tables.
