Happy Thursday. Today you will be submitting your SPELLING task. Remember the CHALLENGE is only if you feel like doing some extra learning.

READING

Learning Intention: We are learning to logon to Reading Egg.

Success Criteria:

I can login to Reading Eggs by myself

I can complete the set task

Before or after each lesson remember to read your reader or practise your Magic Words or practise the common sounds of the alphabet (cued articulation video).

Introduction: Today you will listen to Ms Baeck read ‘The Pros and Cons of being a frog.

Activity: After listening to Ms Baeck read, sign into Reading Eggs to complete the assigned task ‘f’.

You will know you are finished when…..you have completed the task.

Challenge: Choose a task to complete yourself on Reading Eggs.

WRITING

Learning Intention: We are learning to write a fairy tale.

Success Criteria: I can write a fairy tale that has a beginning, middle and end.

Writing book, or loose paper
Grey lead
Spelling chart (to help you sound out words)

Challenge: Use lots of describing words in your writing.

SPELLING

Success Criteria:

I use my spelling fingers to help me write all the sounds I hear in a word
I write all the words in my sentence

You will need:

Introduction: Follow along with Miss G for our Spelling dictation lesson. Write your sentence on your board.

Activity: Take a picture of your sentence and submit it on Google Classroom.

You will know you are finished when… You can read your sentence back and it includes all of the sounds and words.

Challenge: Practise writing your Magic Words or this weeks Common words on your whiteboard (don’t forget to take a picture of your dictation sentence though before you rub it off!)

MATHS

Learning Intention: We are revising numbers to 20

Success Criteria: I can write numbers up to 20.

I can read the numbers on my bingo board

Introduction: Today My Keys is going to play Number Bingo with you.

Activity:

Draw up your number bingo board only using numbers between 0 - 20. Watch the explicit video to play along with the game.Remember you can only write each number once

You will know you are finished when......... You have crossed off all the numbers on your board.

Challenge: After the game, play number bingo with your family.

SPECIALISTS

Every day you can choose one Specialist activity you would like to complete for the day. Remember there are four Specialist areas; Art, Performing Arts, STEM and Indonesian. You will find that we have kept PE on a Friday.
