Introduction: Join in with Miss G as she shows you the game ‘Sneak a Peek’ to help you practise your Magic Words and words that belong in ‘Word Jail’!
Activity: Use your Magic Words, or have a go at some ‘Jail Words’ below, and practise writing these on your whiteboard - trying to sneak less peeks as you go.
You will know you are finished when… You have practised at least 5 words using ‘Sneak a Peek’.
Challenge: Can you try some of the trickier words on the Word Jail list?
Reading Eggs: After learning about ‘Sneak a Peak’ with Miss G, logon to Reading Eggs and complete the set task.

You will need:
Writing book, or loose paper to make a book
Grey lead
Spelling chart (to help you sound out words)
Coloured pencils (to illustrate)
Introduction: Watch Miss G as she writes a story that has a beginning , middle and end.
Activity: Have a go at writing your own story - it can be about absolutely anything you would like! You might want to retell one of your favourite stories or make up your own.
You can write it in your book, make a picture book, design a comic - the choice is yours!
Remember to include a beginning, a middle and an end.
Even try beginning with a Sizzling Start!
Put it up on your Google Classroom page if you would like to share it with your grade!

You have written a story that has a beginning, middle and end and drawn pictures to match.

You will need:

Introduction: Follow along with Miss G for our Spelling dictation lesson. Write your sentence on your board. Remember you can pause at any point to give yourself more time.
Activity: Take a picture of your sentence and submit it on Google Classroom.
You will know you are finished when… You can read your sentence back and it includes all of the sounds and words AND you have submitted a picture of your work.
Challenge: Go on a hunt for all the things in your house that have zips. Draw/record these in your Spelling book.

. Maths book
. Deck of cards - take the Jack, Queen, King out OR challenge-give them a number value.
Introduction: Begin by watching Jack Hartmanns subitising.
Activity: Watch Mr Key’s take you though today’s learning. Today you are going to practise counting on from the biggest number by using your number line. You will be using the sheet provided below as a template.
Shuffle the cards.
Flip over the first card and write it down.
Find that number on the number line and count on 2.
Write the answer.
Continue until you have finished.
