Success Criteria:
I can use addition skills to find the total cost of my party to ensure it’s within the given budget.
Activity: Today you are planning a PARTYYYY! It may be an isolation party with your family or a party for more when we can socialise together in the future. You decide. The only thing is you have a budget. A budget is a set amount of money you can spend on your party. So choose your items wisely and make sure you add up the total to show us what yummy food and drinks and decorations will be at your party. You can get multiples of the same item if you need. (Check to see how many servings you get of each item for the price) Your budget is $50. Please plan for your party and show us the following:
· What items will be at your party
· How many people will be at your party
· The total cost of your party (must be less than $50 or exactly $50)
· How you figured out the total cost (addition equations/using real money to add/pictures, etc)
Check out the list of party food/drinks/decorations you have to choose from to the left.
PLEASE MAKE SURE THAT YOU CHOOSE ITEMS FROM THE LIST (INCLUDING THE COST) THAT HAS BEEN PROVIDED.
