You will need:
Materials to make the Three Little Pigs houses. You might like to use cardboard or paper once again and draw the different houses. You might also like to be creative and use other resources such as lego to make the brick house, sticks to make the wood house, Playdough or something else from nature to make the straw house. Be as creative as you like with any other materials you have in the home!

Introduction:
Watch today’s reading video. Following on from yesterday's lesson we will be making The Three Little Pigs houses to show the setting.
Activity:
Make the Three Little Pigs houses to show the setting. When you have finished this use the puppet characters you made yesterday and the houses from today to retell the the story in your own words. Ask your parents to record a video of your retell. This will be uploaded onto google classroom for your teacher to see.
You will know you are finished when:
You have made your character and setting.
Recorded a video to retell the main events that happened in the story.
You have recorded your video and sent it to your class teacher.
Challenge: Come up with a different ending to The Three Little Pigs. Act this out using the puppets and houses you have made.
Learning Intention: We are learning to write a sentence that starts and ends with a rhyming word.
Success Criteria: My sentences have a matching rhyming word and the start and at the end.

You Will Need:

Grey lead pencil (to write)
Coloured pencils (to illustrate)
Introduction:
Listen to Miss G read the story ‘Oi Frog’ and help her find the rhyming words. Brainstorm some other animals who could be in the story and words that rhyme with that animal. eg. bee and tree.
Activity:
Once you have chosen your animal to write about, put it into a sentence by following the pattern that Miss G showed you, making sure your first and last word rhyme. E.g. 'Bees sit on trees.' You can be as crazy and imaginative as you like. Then you can draw a picture to match your sentence.
You will know you are finished when…
You have written a sentence that rhymes and drawn a picture to match your idea.
Challenge:
Can you come up with a list or a book of crazy sentences. Try and choose 5 different animals and what they are sitting on.

Introduction: Sing along to Der Glumph Da Gloomf Dar Glumf Play School as we warm up for today’s spelling lesson.
Activity: Using your neatest handwriting complete the ‘frog’ handwriting slip (following the guide and sitting your letters on the line) from your Spelling pack. Stick into your Spelling book.
You will know you are finished when…
You have completed, and stuck in, your ‘frog’ handwriting slip.
Challenge: Can you think of any other words that start with the ‘fr’ blend? Eg. free, from, frost, fresh, fry.
Have a go at writing these on your whiteboard.

Introduction:
Today you are going to go for a walk around your house and see what 3D shapes you can find. What did you find? How many faces does that shape have? How many edges does it have? How many corners?
Activity:

Today we are going to make a cube from the materials we have found at home. You might make a paddle pop stick cube, you might make a cube out of straws, lego or paper.
You will know you are finished when: You have made a cube and can count how many faces, edges and corners it has.
Challenge: Investigate different 3D Shapes. Could you make a pyramid using the same materials you used to make a cube.
