You will need:
6 - 10 bottles (these will be your pins)
Ball (this will be your bowling ball)

Introduction: Watch Mr Keys take you for the warm up lesson today.
Activity: Today you are going to watch Mr Keys take you through subtraction bowling.
Set up 6 - 10 pins.
Roll the ball.
Say, 'I have 10 pins. I knocked 3 down. I have 7 pins left'.
Write this matching number sentence.
10 - 3 = 7.
Say, 'I have 7 pins. I knock 2 pins down. I have 5 pins left'.
7-2 = 5
etc
When you have completed five subtraction number sentences, take a photo of your work and submit it to your class folder. It would be great if you could post photos of yourself playing bowls to your class GOOGLE WALL.
You will know you are finished when….have practised subtraction bowling at least five times, taken a photo of your number sentences and uploaded it to your class folder.
Challenge: Compete bowling against a family member. Keep a total of how many pins you and your parents or siblings have knocked down.
