Breakfast Sausage Casserole

***Needs a crockpot****


1 can (10.5 oz) condensed cream soup [They used mushroom, I used celery]

1 cup milk

1 bag (about 32 oz) frozen hash browns, thawed [They used the cubed ones, I used shredded and I think my bag was like 26 oz]

1 lb breakfast sausage, browned [They used diced smoked sausage, I used moose breakfast sausage]

1 small onion, diced

1 ½ cups grated cheddar

½ tsp thyme

½ tsp parsley


They simmered their soup first…I did not. I just mixed it and the milk and herbs in the bottom of my crockpot. Add in hash browns, sausage, onion and 1 cup of cheese. Stir.


Sprinkle rest of cheese over the top and cook on high for about 3 hours.
