Meat Filling

2 tbsp oil

1 cup chopped onion

1 lb ground hamburger (I used moose)

2 tsp parsley

1 tsp rosemary

1 tsp thyme

½ tsp salt

½ tsp pepper

1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

2 garlic cloves, minced

2 tbsp flour

2 tbsp tomato paste

1 cup beef broth

1 pkg (12 oz) frozen mixed vegetables

Potato Topping

**Fair warning...these are their numbers, I measured nothing, I just made mashed potatoes, but I did use what they listed.

2 lbs potatoes, cubed

8 tbsp butter

1/3 cup half and half

½ tsp garlic powder

½ tsp salt

¼ tsp pepper

¼ cup parmesan cheese

Preheat oven to 400. Grease a 9 by 9 casserole dish.

Add oil to large skillet and place over medium heat. Add in onion and cook for a few minutes to soften. Add ground meat and start cooking and breaking up. Add in spices. Cook until browned. Drain meat if needed. Add in Worcestershire sauce and garlic and cook for another minutes. Add in broth and vegetables. Bring to a boil and then reduce to a simmer. Simmer for 5 minutes.

Meanwhile, boil cubed potatoes for 10-15 minutes or until tender. Drain. Then add in rest of ingredients and mash (I used an electric mixer to get a whipped consistency).

Pour meat mixture into baking dish. Spread it out in a even layer. Spread mashed potatoes over the top.

Bake uncovered for 25-30 minutes. Let sit for 10 minutes before serving.
