Banana Bread (whole wheat)

Modified from some FB post

2 cups whole wheat flour

1 tsp baking soda

1/4 tsp salt

1/2 cup sugar-free applesauce (I used my homemade, which has sugar so I used less honey)

3/4 cup honey

2 eggs, beaten

3 mashed bananas (so I used ones I'd previously frozen and it worked pretty well...frozen thawed bananas look scary though...but it was easy, I mashed, measured and frozen so then I knew how many cups were in each...this is about a cup to a cup and a half, depending on banana size....I made a double batch and used 3 cups of bananas)

Preheat oven to 350. Grease a bread pan.

In large bowl, combine flour, baking soda and salt.

In a separate bowl, mix together applesauce and honey. Stir in eggs and mashed bananas until well blended. Stir banana mixture into flour mixture and mix until moistened. Pour into bread pan.

Bake for 60-65 minutes or until passes toothpick test.
