Pumpkin Bread

1 cup butter, softened

2 cups flour

1 1/2 cups sugar

1 (15 oz) can pumpkin

2 eggs

1/2 cup sour cream

1 tsp baking powder

1 tsp cinnamon

1 tsp vanilla

1/2 tsp baking soda

1/2 tsp salt

1/2 tsp nutmeg

1/2 tsp allspice

Preheat oven to 350. Grease 2 loaf pans.

Whisk together the flour, baking powder, cinnamon, baking soda, salt, nutmeg and allspice. Set aside. In a large bowl, cream butter and sugar. Beat in eggs one at a time, then add vanilla. Alternate adding in dry ingredients with pumpkin and sour cream, ending with dry.

Pour into loaf pans and bake for 50-60 minutes or until passes toothpick test.
