Cheesy Hot Dog Tater Tot Casserole

8 hot dogs (I used caribou), cut into 1/2 inch pieces

2 (15 oz) can chili (I used homemade)

3/4 cup ketchup

1 tsp Worcestershire sauce

1/2 medium onion, diced

1/4 tsp crushed red pepper flakes

2 1/2 cups shredded cheddar, divided

1 (28 oz) bag frozen tater tots


Preheat oven to 350 and spray a 13 by 9 inch casserole dish with cooking spray.

In a large bowl, combine hot dogs, chili, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, onion and red pepper flakes. Mix well.

Put tater tots in the pan. Sprinkle 1 1/2 cups of the cheese. Top with chili. Bake for 30 minutes. Spread rest of cheese on it. Bake another 10 minutes.

***So they put the chili down then the tater tots. Which I found was really weird. Plus this was NOT hot. I'm hoping by flipping it back to regular order might help. Or it just needs longer in the oven...***
