Pepperoni Bread

***Needs a bread maker***

1 cup plus 1 tbsp. warm water

1/3 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded

2 tbsp. sugar

1 1/2 tsp. garlic salt

1 1/2 tsp. oregano

3 1/4 cup bread flour (I actually typically just use all purpose although I do have usually have bread flour in the house...just depends if I think about it)

1 1/2 tsp. active dry yeast

2/3 cup finely chopped pepperoni

In bread machine put first 7 ingredients (as suggested by manufacturer). Select basic bread setting. Bake according to bread maker instructions (check your dough after 5 minutes to see if you need extra water, I never have). Before final kneading (my machine beeps and for me this was 2:45 left - out of 3 hours for my basic bread setting), add the pepperoni.

Makes 1 (1.5 lb) loaf.
