Apples

Modified from Grandma

Peel and core apples and chop into whatever size you want (we usually do slices). Put in salt water as you cut them (about 1/2 cup salt to 1 gallon of water....Grandma never actually measures). Once you have a full bowl, take out of the salt water and put into storage bags and freeze.

They will stay nice and white all winter in your freezer! I used them frozen in my recipes!
