Chocolate Raspberry Brownies

Modified from Hershey's

1 2/3 cups (10 oz pkg) Raspberry Chips (Hershey's make them, but someone else might also)

1/4 cup butter or margarine

2 eggs

1 tsp vanilla

1 cup flour

1/2 cup sugar

1 tsp baking powder

powdered sugar (optional, I didn't use it)

Preheat oven to 350. Grease 8 inch square baking pan. Combine raspberry chips and butter in medium saucepan. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until melted. Remove from heat. Add eggs and vanilla, stir until well blended (I used a separate bowl, but I think you can just use the saucepan). Add flour, sugar, baking powder, stir until well blended. Spread batter into pan. Bake 25-30 minutes or until brownies begin to pull away from the sides of the pan. Cool completely in pan on wire rack. Cut into bars.

Makes about 20 brownies.
