Pepperoni 'n' Cheese Crescents

Modified from Reminisce

2 (8 oz) cans refrigerated Crescent rolls

sliced pepperoni (or sliced ham)

sliced provolone or mozzarella cheese (or Swiss if you are doing ham)

egg white

Preheat oven to 375. Separate dough into individual triangles (this said 8....with two containers, I had 16....now either theirs was a typo or they were making larger ones than me...I also used store brand not the Pillsbury they were using, maybe that is also different? But mine were fine). Place three slices of pepperoni (or you can use ham) on each triangle. Please about a half of slice of cheese on top. Roll up, starting at the point. Place on cookie sheet, seam side down. Brush with egg whites. Bake for 10-14 minutes or until golden brown.

So I think this is very versatile. I did both pepperoni and provolone and then ham and Swiss. The pepperoni and provolone were the favorites, although hubby would rather than mozzarella (I like provolone and it was in the fridge). You could really do any combo you wanted here.

Makes 16 (at least for me) little roll ups.
