Bacon-Cheddar Pinwheels

Modified from Taste of Home

1 can (8 oz) crescent refrigerated seamless dough sheet (refrigerated cresecent dinner rolls)

2 tbsp ranch dressing

4 slices bacon, crisply cooked, crumbled

1/2 cup cheddar, shredded

1/4 cup onion, minced

Heat oven to 350. Unroll dough and cut into 2 long rectangles. Press each into a 12 by 4 inch rectangle (this pretty much is as is) (if you use the crescent rolls, you have to cut then press the perforations to seal).

Spread dressing over each rectangle to edges. Sprinkle each with bacon, cheddar cheese and onions.

Starting with one short side, roll up each rectangle press edge to seal. With serrated knife, cut each roll into 8 slices; place cut side down on the ungreased cookie sheet.

Bake 12-17 minutes or until edges are deep golden brown. Immediately remove from cookie sheet. Serve warm.

Makes 16 appetizers (I got 14....).
