Apple Jelly

3 cups unsweetened apple juice

4 tbsp classic pectin

½ tsp butter

3 1/3 cups sugar

Sterilize jars. Put apple juice in a large pot. Whisk in pectin and then stir in butter. Bring to a boil, stirring frequently. Add sugar all at once and return to a full boil. Boil hard, stirring constantly, for 1 minutes. Remove from heat. Pour hot jelly into hot jars and wipe rims. Put on lids. Place into canner and process for 10 minutes. Make sure lids sealed.


Makes about 4 half pint jars.
