“Empathy in Times of Suffering”
San Francisco Empathy Bootcamp in March Sign-Up
Please join us for an Empathy Bootcamp, taught by Kelsey Crowe PhD and Tracy Mulholland, a program that gives you tools for building relationships when it really counts.
We can shy away from others when they experience loss, illness, divorce, or any range of difficulty, because we don't know what to do or say. We teach empathy skills, conversational dos and don'ts, and ways to reach out so you feel prepared to comfort friends, colleagues, and family who are suffering. Our approach is grounded in social science but delivered with humor and heart. You will come away with concrete ways to be an empathetic person when it really counts, both in your personal and professional life.
What are 'Empathy Bootcamps' and can they help fight America's loneliness epidemic?
Juli Fraga
"Now, Kelsey Crowe, Ph.D., a social worker and researcher in San Francisco, and her colleague Tracy Mulholland are tackling this public health crisis by setting up a novel workshop, called Empathy Bootcamp in communities across the nation. This empathy immersion course teaches people how compassion can strengthen their relationships and help decrease feelings of loneliness."
