The 2022 PA GOP Senate Primary, A closely fought Contest between NJ TV Doctor Mehmet Oz, and Connecticut Hedgefund Manager for this Pennsylvania Senate seat, the race saw the TV Doctor win in an unusually non-regionally polarized PA Primary.
While McCormick did do better in the west, a region he once had Ties too, inverse for Oz in the East, neither really won their regions by good margins, with the election being even throughout the state.
In the end, while Oz won the Primary, he would go on to lose the General to then Lieutenant Governor, Democrat John Fetterman.
