1968 NH Senate Election

The 1968 U.S. Senate election from NH. A landslide Reelection for Senator Norris Cotton, and his last election to the senate this map produced the often sought after Bloös County.

This map also showcases the difficulty of ousting an incumbent in NH as Sen. Norris outperformed Nixon by 10.42%.

It should be noted that the subsequent election for this Class III seat became one of if not the closest election in senate history, necessitating Sen. Norris being appointed so that a special election could be held.
