As he did in his 2008 Reelection, Incumbent AG Tom Corbett won Allegheny County over Incumbent Allegheny Executive Dan Onorato thanks to both Corbett's strong appeal in this region (due to it being his home region) and Onorato's strong Focus on Eastern PA during his overall lackluster campaign.
Corbett was able to win Allegheny thanks to doing well in the Ancestrally Democratic area of Southeastern Allegheny, Holding Pittsburg to a 40% Loss against Onorato, and Generally landsliding the Suburban Areas of the county.
