The Rupture however hilighted the GOP's strength in the city and why it was such a stronghold for them until the new Deal. To this effect Taft won the City due to his crushing Margins among Foreign Born Whites and African Americans
By Contrast, Roosevelt's Strength in the city came from it's native white population, who tended to choose the former president over the GOP Philly Machine Backed Taft.
Lastly both Eugene Debs and Wilson tended to have rather Uniform Performances throughout Philadephia with some notable exceptions. Such as Wilson having a crushing Victory in the Foreign born Heavy 6th ward, or Debs attaining 12.37% in the Mixed Parantage heavy 33rd Ward.
