A Seat that has bolted left durring the Trump and Biden Administrations, Tom Kean Jr faces a dogfight in 2024 to hold the seat that once powered his father to statewide victories in the 1980s.
Lastly, the republican DNA is even further observed with 1989 GOP Gubernatorial nominee, US Representative Jim Courner (NJ-12), wining the seat by 2% even as Jim Florio had the best Democratic Gubernatorial Performance since Brendan Byrne's win in the 1973 Watergate Off Year elections.
