We began the spring term learning about fables. The children listened to the fables, created a story map, took notes and attempted to re-tell them.
We had an online workshop Michael Rosen - we learnt about different stories relating to food.
Mr Curnell's Class came and chatted to our children, they then created a story for us. It was lovely.

We discussed the topic title and the children used Seesaw to type their questions to lead the learning.
We learnt all about the healthy habits from the SHINE schools programme. The children then wrote their own healthy habits and created posters.
We walked around our school to look for different materials.
We had so much fun with this - we also learnt lots about team work and leadership.
First, the children wrote up the method and predictions, next they conducted the experiment and lastly, they discussed their findings and established if their predictions were correct.
We have completed lots of different experiments so far this term - all related to the children's questions from pupil voice.
