The children explored their senses and looked at ways in which using their senses could help them write descriptively. The started by looking at an image and discussed with their talking partners what they could, see, hear, smell. They then imagined they were stepping into the image, and discussed how they would act, what they would feel and taste.

We sorted animals in our play. We sorted animals to set criteria. This helped us to create new habitats for different animals in a zoo.
