The children brought in tins and packets of food to donate to the local Foodbank
We used broccoli to paint autumn leaves on our trees.
We collected autumn leaves from our outdoor environment to make a display for our 'Mae'r Hydref Yma' board.
French Friday
To celebrate French Friday we made our own French flags, built the Eiffel Tower out of various blocks and materials and sampled lots of scrumptious French food. Bon Appetite!
World Mental Health Day 2024
We wore yellow for World Mental Health Day
We discussed our feelings and the children painted their hands and used their handprints to express how they felt.
Halloween
The children loved dressing up for a Halloween disco. In class we decorated pumpkins, read stories related to Halloween and talked about how the children celebrate this in different ways.
Odd Socks Day
The children wore odd socks to school during anti-bullying week to highlight the fact that we are all different but also the same. We talked about feelings and being kind to each other.
Rememberance Day - 11/11/24
We discussed the importance of rememberance day and the different ways we can remember the brave people. The children painted their own poppies and wrote why we remember this day.

Friendship Friday -
We listened to the story of the Rainbow Fish and how he wouldn't share his scales with the little blue fish. We discussed the many qualitiies of what makes a good friend. Ou motto .......sharing is caring!.
We went on a colour walk, looking for items/objects for every colour of the rainbow. We couldn't find anything pink. I wonder why?
