Interactive Storytelling Session with Mary the Fairy

Mary the Fairy came to visit us! She told us a wonderful story about some animals and characters in Fairyland that couldn't get to the end of the rainbow. They were experiencing lots of different emotions. Mary showed them how to 'turn their troubles into bubbles and blow them all away'!

We used lots of props, lights, music, role play and even a parachute to help illustrate this to the children.

We Received a Letter From Mary the Fairy!

LETTER FROM MARY FAIRY!!

We searched high and low for Mary's rainbow

We decided to make Mary a rainbow!

We collected natural resources from our nature area. We grouped them together to make Mary's rainbow.

The children had their photograph taken and sent it to Mary. At the end of the day the children received an email!

Reflections

We walked around the school looking for our reflections.

Shadows

Our shadows did everything that we did! We tried jumping, dancing and freezing. Our shadows were very clever!

Where do they come from?

We Received a Video Message From our Class Welsh Mascot Tedi Twt!

Tedi Twt was sad. He spent every day and night down in our nature area alone, with no friends. He sat in the wind, rain and snow.

Could the children find a way to help him?

The children discussed the ways in which they could help Tedi Twt

We wanted to make the house waterproof

We had to work in a team and help each other

We needed a little help tying the house to the tree

We brought Teddi Twt lunch

We made sure Tedi had his dinner

We found Tedi Twt a friend
