We had a video from the school office. The cameras caught some animals running around our yard. Where did they come from? and why were they in our yard?
Bumble Bee workshop - Learning how to communicate.
We listened to a story and thought about how we should communicate when we meet someone new.
We need to look at the person, speak clearly and not too quiet.
We created identification cards and then used these to practise communicating with our friends.
Our sports ambassadors organised and hosted a whole school sponsored sports event that was a tremendous success. The event featured a variety of sports activities. Through their efforts and the enthusiastic participation of the entire school, we raised over £4,000. This incredible amount will be used to purchase new PE and playground equipment. We are immensely proud of our sports ambassadors and grateful to everyone who contributed to this fantastic event.
During our Health & Wellbeing Week, the children engaged in a variety of activities aimed at promoting a healthy lifestyle. They explored healthy eating habits, labelled body parts, and learned about the NSPCC Pantasaurus. They also designed posters highlighting safety around medicine. We studied the Olympics, learning about the different sports in which athletes compete. As a creative exercise, the children then designed their own medals.
Movement Matters
We had the pleasure of a visit from Richard, a representative of Movement Matters. He introduced us to a variety of exciting and interactive team-building games that were not only fun but also engaging for everyone. The session was highly enjoyable, as we learned new ways to work together, communicate more effectively, and build stronger connections. The games were creative, encouraging both teamwork and problem-solving for us to use in our future PE sessions.
