Children In Need
The children wore their pajamas to school, decorated biscuits, and made their own Pudsey bears. This year, Cwmlai helped raise £720 for Children in Need.
Remembrance Day
The children watched the CBeebies poppy animation film for Remembrance Day while we spoke about who we remember on this day. The children then decorated poppy cookies and created their own poppies.
Odd Socks Day
Children wore odd socks on November 14 to support anti-bullying week. The children discussed the qualities of a good friend and made posters using the word "Reach Out" as their theme.
Friendship Bracelets
In line with anti bullying week we discussed what makes a good friend. We made friendship bracelets and wrote words on them that were qualities of a good friend.
Diwali
The children made their own Rangoli patterns in the tuff spot and on the whiteboard. They followed instructions and made thier own diva lamps.
