We planned a trip to Cardiff Castle after the children asked for a school trip to a castle. The keep, dungeons, banquet hall, and other areas of the castle were all explored by us.
Additionally, the children really enjoyed a workshop with a knight and a guided tour of the castle's rooms!
The children dressed in red clothing to support Velindre.
The children participated in our Eisteddfod, taking part in handwriting and painting competitions as well as lots of fantastic singing.
Jesse participated in the local Eisteddfod poetry recital competition. he did really well and made his class and teachers very proud. Da iawn, Jesse!
In celebration of World Book Day, we had a wonderful day. The children participated in partnered reading in the hall, made story headbands and bookmarks, read aloud to the class, played guess the character, and created bookmarks.
To celebrate Easter the children created their own Easter Bonnets. They wore them to parade around the school and show off their designs to the rest of the school.
