WELSH HERITAGE AWARD 2023

We worked SO hard on putting together all that we have learned from the topic. We had Eleri from the Welsh Heritage Initiative visit our school on Friday 28th April and 

the below presentation is all in our words. We hope you enjoy watching!

We began our topic with an "Immersion afternoon". We had numerous artefacts from the Rhondda Heritage Park as well as some artefacts already in school.  We used the carousel method to explore all of the artefacts on each table and quickly realised that they were all related to mining. We had so many questions and these are on our classroom display
