European Languages Day - Spain

As part of our Spanish day we learnt about Spanish dancing, we chopped up fruit to make sangria and we dressed up in Spanish colours or clothing.  We learnt how to count to ten in Spanish and we learnt some Spanish songs. 

Remembrance Day - We learnt about Remembrance day and chose our own way to create a poppy using paints, drawings collage and ICT.

Children in Need

We had lots of fun on Children in Need day.  We wore our pyjama's to school.  We played pudsey bear games.  We made pusdey chocloates and decorated pudsey bears around the classroom and in different forms.  We talked about why we celebrate Children in Need day.

What makes us happy?

We talked about what things makes us happy.  We had a go at drawing pictures of these things and writing the words to explain.

Helpwr Heddiw sessions

We ask each other our names and how do we feel?  We sing songs about the weather and our feelings.

Counting and ordering to 4 and adding 1 more

The children have been counting to 4 and ordering the numerals.  They have been encouraged to add 1 more and then identify how many they have.

During free play the children have been constructing towers and castles.  They have been discussing what castles look like and why we have towers.

Our familes are very important to us.  We have been drawing pictures of them.
