Elijus speaks Lithuanian and here he is saying hello in his language. As part of our international languages work we explored the country, France, researching key facts about the country and its culture. We even learned some key vocabulary and practised saying words and phrases in French.
On Friday 11th October, we participated in World Mental Health Day. We wore something yellow to school and participated in many mindful activities; including designing posters to promote the importance of looking after our mental health and physical activities with Forces Fitness.

We participated in an Adobe live lesson with Dom and created Kente designs, which we repeated to make a Kente Cloth to celebrate Show Racism the Red Card.
What do the different coloured poppies mean?
The red poppy is the most famous symbol used to commemorate those who sacrificed their lives in World War One.
The purple poppy is worn to remember all the animals that died during war.
The black poppy represents black, African and Caribbean communities' contribution in the war effort.
The white poppy is a symbol of remembrance and peace with the message, 'Never Again'.
