Digital Leaders

Meeting Minutes

• We began our first Senedd Meeting by discussing the role of a digital leader at Cwmlai Primary. 

• All members joined the new Digital Leaders Google Classroom. 

• The new digital leaders discussed and shared their ideas about what they would like to achieve during this academic year. 

• The children felt that some of the Chromebook and iPad trollies are looking rather untidy and that some children were not putting the equipment back correctly and not plugging them in to charge.

• It was decided that during our first few sessions, we would design some posters/labels for the trollies to remind the rest of the children about the rules for using and looking after the devices. 

• We also created a questionnaire to find out what people know about e-safety and their use of technology outside of school. This questionnaire was shared with all classes via the school website for them to complete. Once complete, we plan to use this information to help us plan our next steps during our Senedd Meetings.
