We drew portraits of ourselves, next we discussed and thought of some new years resolutions. We wrote our own around our drawing to remind us of our goals for the new year.
We worked together to research how Christmas in celebrated in different countries around the world.
No One Wraps Like An Elf - Our Christmas Concert this year. We worked hard learning our lines and songs and were really enthusiastic with our performances. We had an amazing time and are very proud of ourselves.
We've been inspired by Creative Cariad and have been creating these fantastic drawings of ourselves. We have also been talking about how and what we feel 'inside our minds' and have drawn this.
We have been working hard during our P.E lessons and are becoming confident individuals. We have learnt a lot about teamwork and are enjoying our P.E activities related to this. Gymnastics has also been a focus of our lessons where we explore basic shapes, jumps and movements.
As part of our SEAL lessons we have been exploring the word 'grateful' and sharing our feelings. We made a class video to share.

After that, children drew their own pumpkins, which we then displayed around the door of our classroom.
For Seren a Sbarc day we celebrated welsh by playing Welsh games and making Welsh games we can play during our Helpwr Heddiw time. We also sang some welsh songs.
We have been learning about Diwali. The children used their Creative Cariad skills to make a Rangoli patterns using natural materials and worked in a group to produce a pattern. Great team work!
The children also followed instructions to make their own lantern.
For Rememberance Day the children created their own window display to remember the soldiers that fought in the war. They made poppies and created an acrostic poem about how we will remember.
The children participated in a series of lessons with Ben from Cardiff City Football Academy. They enjoyed learning and practising new football skills, especially playing games.
There was lots of teamwork involved and the children thoroughly enjoyed themselves.
We really enjoyed our weekly trumpet lessons. We learnt how to play a number of tunes using the trumpet.
The children enjoyed participating in many activities to raise money for Children in Need. They played football and bought items from the school council stall. They also made factual posters about Children in Need.
