Pupil Choice / Generating Research Questions
The children worked collaboratively on Jamboard to come up with research questions that would guide their learning throughout the topic.
Independent Research
The children used the Chromebooks to carry out their own independent research to find out about the 2023 RWC host country, France. The children took it in turns to share with the class what they had found out.
Locate the world cup countries on a map of the world
The children began the topic by locating the countries that were competing in the World Cup on a World map. They also researched the capital city and population of the country and found the Welsh translation for each country. The children then used Google Forms to create their very own 'Capital City Quiz'. You can test your knowledge of capital cities by trying some of the quizzes below......
Music
During our music lessons, the children learnt to play 'Sosban Fach' and 'Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da' on the Ukuleles.

The children carried out their own independent research to find out about the religious festival, Diwali. They were then challenged to create their own 'Diwali Crossword'. When complete the children gave their crossword to a member of the class for them to complete.
