Another issue which is very dear to

my vision of the future is global

demilitarization. This may sound

idealistic to many people. I am aware

that implementing it requires a

step-by-step approach that will entail a

process of re-thinking in policy and

public education. The first step towards

this goal is an international ban on the

arms trade and an expansion of

demilitarized zones in all parts of

the world. Recent progress on dismantling

nuclear arsenals and nuclear test bans

represent an encouraging and

significant beginning.

我明白想要實踐這個憧憬,

需要一種步步為營的方法,

在政策與公共教育上都要不斷重新衡量.

代表著莫大的鼓勵與重要的開始.
