If a person has never encountered love

towards himself or herself from any

quarter, it is very sad. But if that

person can meet even one person who

will show unconditional love -- simply

acceptance and compassion -- if he

knows that he is an object of someone

else’s affection and love, it is bound to

have an impact, and this will be

appreciated. Because there is a seed in

himself, this act of love will start to

catalyse or ripen that seed.

若一個人從不曾得到任何的愛,

會是件多麼悲慘的事.

但若這個人遇到即便只有一個人

對他付出無條件的愛

– 自然的接受與包容 –

只要他知道自己是某個人愛慕

與付出情感的對象,

就一定會發生影響,

會被覺察也會被珍惜感激.

因為每個人都有種子, 而愛的行為

會催化種子並使種子成熟.
