If we examine ourselves every day
with mindfulness and mental alertness,
checking our thoughts, motivations and
their manifestations in external
behaviour, a possibility for change and
self-improvement can open within us.
Although I myself cannot claim with
confidence to have made any
remarkable progress over the years, my
desire and determination to change and
improve is always firm. From early
morning until I go to bed and in all
situations of life, I always try to check
my motivation and be mindful and
present in the moment. Personally, I
find this to be very helpful in
my own life.
如果我們每天全心謹慎的檢查自己,
檢查我們的想法, 做事的動機,
和它們所衍生的外在行為表現,
改變和自我提升的機會就從內在發生.
雖然我不能自信的聲稱
自己在過去幾年中有什麼卓越的進展,
我對於改變與成長的渴望與決心
卻一直都是堅定的.
從清晨到晚上入睡,
生活中的每個狀況裡,
我時時努力的檢查我的動機,
時時在當下保持警覺.
就個人來說, 我認為
這對於我的生命極有幫助.
