serves 4

4 ground chuck burger patties

1 teaspoon cumin

1 teaspoon chili powder

1 teaspoon garlic salt

1 teaspoon salt

2 teaspoons black ground pepper

1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper

4 slices sharp cheddar cheese

4 Hamburger Buns

1/2 cup Pioneer Woman, Ranch Dressing & Dip, Spicy Southwestern

several leaves of Iceburg lettuce

1 tomato sliced

1 red onion sliced

4 whole green chilies, cooked and skinned

4 slices thick cut bacon, cooked crisp

1/2 cup dill pickle chips

Directions

We like to use 1/4 pound ground chuck for each burger, we don't like really thick burgers so this works great for us.

Mix together in a small bowl, cumin, chili powder, garlic salt, kosher salt, black pepper, cayaenne pepper.

Set the burgers out before grilling and let them come to room temperature.

Sprinkle the burger patties on both sides with the season mix.

Let the burgers set for 20 minutes after seasoning and before grilling.

Grill the burgers to your favorite rare, medium rare, medium well, well. We are medium well people here and sometimes well.

Just before the bugers are ready to come off the grill, add the cheese to the top to melt add the buns on the grill to toast.

On the bottom bun spread the spicy southwestern sauce.

Next add the lettuce, tomato, cheese topped burger, onion, green chili's, bacon and dill pickles, top with the top bun.

Enjoy every bite!
