Slow Cooker Spiral Ham With Pineapple

Ingredients

1- 8 pound spiral-cut ham, bone in

1 cup brown sugar

1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper

4 tablespoons Dijon mustard

1 cup pineapple juice

3/4 cup maple syrup

4 to 5 pineapple slices, use canned

cherries to garnish

Directions

Place the brown sugar, cayenne pepper, Dijon mustard,maple syrup and pineapple juice in a small sauce pan. Bring the mix to a rolling boil stirring constantly then remove from heat and set aside.

Remove the ham from the package and place the flat side down on a cutting board.

Remove the hock end of the ham.

Freeze the Ham Hock for future use.

Place the ham hock end of the ham up with the flat side down in the slow cooker.

Pour the warm sauce over the ham, covering the ham well.

Place the pineapple slices and cherries on top of the ham.

Place the lid on the ham and cook for 3 hours on low heat then keep warm until ready to serve.
